Introduction
This website
is dedicated to the work of medium Trevor Ward. Demonstrations of
mediumship are given at various venues including spiritualist churches
within a radius surrounding Egham in Surrey and from time to time at
other venues throughout the country. Private one to one
readings on a face to face basis are also given either at home or away.
One day and weekend workshops are also undertaken both privately and at
spiritualist churches. More
information about demonstrations of mediumship, workshops, private
readings and development classes can be found on the
“Information” and "Private Readings" pages. To
contact Trevor see the “Contact” page.
A medium makes
contact with the Spirit World using his or her spiritual senses. These
include but are not limited to: clairvoyance (where the medium hears a
spirit communicator), clairsentience (feeling the presence of spirit),
clairaudience (hearing spirit) and clairknowing (when the medium just
knows certain details about the communicator and their life).
Clairvoyance
is not limited to only seeing a person from the Spirit World but may
include a vast range of information such as, shared memories, a
description of a home or a pet, a favourite place or holiday and visual
information relevant to life of the recipient. With
clairsentience the medium may feel the type of personality making a
connection, character traits and ailments etc. With
clairaudience the medium may hear the communicator’s name,
street names and places etc. Many
people believe that names given by a medium constitute good survival
evidence but in fact an accurate description of the personality of the
communicator along with character traits may provide more compelling
evidence of survival. Clairknowing
simply means that the Medium becomes very suddenly aware of certain
information about the spirit person.
A
communication passed on by a medium will involve all of the
medium’s spiritual senses at work and at times they will seem
blended together. In
fact there is never just one sense at work. The
role of the medium is to obtain evidence of survival of loved ones in
the Spirit World. By
providing survival evidence, people in the Spirit World wish to confirm
to their loved ones that they live on. They
return because they love us and they also wish to confirm to the world
at large that there is another dimension to life. They
often also pass on messages to their loves ones and very often these
messages are linked in some way to the evidence of their survival.
Whether a
communication is successful or not depends on many factors such as, the
atmosphere of the location, the ability of the recipient to receive the
communication and the ability of the medium to attune successfully at
the time.When the
communication goes very well, the experience will be difficult to put
into words. The recipient simply feels the presence of their loved ones
from the Spirit World.
The words
“Medium”, “Clairvoyant” and
“Psychic” are words that have aroused considerable
confusion amongst the public. The
work of a medium has already been described and the type of mediumship
described above is often termed "Mental Mediumship" or "Perception
Mediumship" as it is the medium's mind that is being employed. The
term “Clairvoyant” arouses confusion because
clairvoyance is simply one of the spiritual senses which we all have. The
term “Psychic” refers to someone who makes a
connection directly with the energy of the recipient and not with
someone in the Spirit World. They
use the same spiritual senses that a medium uses but the connection
does not go beyond this world, the world in which we all live.
